These images below come from a place I learned to inhabit, somewhere between my mixed identity and my mind's compulsive obsessions. For years, I have been destroying, altering, and transforming photographs to map my mind as a territory. I try to imagine Mishu-Kuekuatsheu moving through the same obsessive loops I do, where the psyche has its own cosmology. Through this practice, intensive repetition that looks like a disorder from the outside, acts as a prayer from within.
